you guys are aware that sometimes MMA fighters and boxers will get boners from fighting right? the adrenaline surges and the blood pressure rises, so sometimes people can get erections when fighting, and men can also get boners from feeling intense negative emotions like anger, stress, anxiety etc.
i feel like the connotation from him imagining ahn yeesung isnt him getting 'aroused' by yeesung. in the previous scenes he imagined it was his dad who seems like he died from a fire, then ahn yeesung saying gyeol will have to fight him at one point, its all things that evoke negative emotions from gyeol. then it goes to him and yeesung, but the dialogue was placed as if yeesung was asking to be saved. and if we remember that chapter where the memory comes from, i think it was yeesung having a meltdown and we know yeesung probably has hypersexuality or the tendancy to use sex as a coping mechanism, if i recall correctly in that chapter yeesung was so out of it and might be a shot in the dark but i wholeheartedly believe yeesung doesnt always enjoy the sex he has even if its with gyeol. which is also why we didnt get to see his face in gyeols memory bcs it was a memory made to evoke negative emotions in gyeol.
