Was Liu Zhen Chun supposed to be a bigger villain? It feels like his fight and arc is going by really fast but his powers are lowk cheat like for the demons?? All it took was a vague partnership agreement and he’s absorbing their powers to summon a bigger demon. It feels like that should’ve been saved for way later down?? Or at least that the arc would be longer

No he was just an insignificant villain in the novel lol, Seric Rose Emperor was not supposed to die while fighting him, he died because of grandfell's brother in the warlord library due to a curse and Liu Zhen was supposed to be killed by Agentress and the elves, Hoyeol and Grandfell never paid attention to him until the great monster arc when his tyrant crown was stolen by a transcendent person using that to control arcana great monsters

Oh you guys are missing out on A LOT of things!
Manhwa deleted and changes sooo many scenes to the point where i can't even explain it now because it's too long and complicated, many arc are skipped and it's also kinda funny how they never showed grandfell evil side...
There should have been a scene where grandfell burns an entire citadel just to hunts the demon never caring if ordinary ppl are caught up in it but somehow that scene is skipped and they directly jump to akshan civil war but like c'mon hoyeol was supposed to lead grandfell to akshan on that arc, but all that gone now... They always makes grandfell appeared good and noble lol it was funny considering that man desire to destroy the world is only suppressed because of hoyeol.
Not only Grandfell, Hoyeol too was deeply mischaracterized, he was not supposed to be useless and always make funny faces, he was supposed to be the one who did everything it was grandfell who follows what hoyeol wants to do, in his own way but that was not the case here, all the credits go grandfell and hoyeol was hated
Not only that there was also many characters in the novel that somehow got deleted and never appeared in the story for example the shadow god, senior gabriel that gives hoyeol the lucifer chain (you know that chain in hoyeol hand ), the lightning child and many other transcendents, the 4 heavenly king/4 families under claudi, red eye dune clan shahin dune, and that one fat merchant who i don't remember the name and some other characters that i don't remember... They are all important to the plot but somehow they never appeared, idk if they'll appear later but rn the plot is no longer following the novel they just created a new one and call it a day
