This chapter was just evil (Ch 44)

So back in season 1, we had an obsessive and controlling beta and a nice alpha, but the omega leaves because he's overwhelmed by their feelings...and we're supposed to believe the alpha is just as wrong as the beta, for some reason? Once the omega returns, he chooses both of them, changes the beta's gender (this wasn't explained beforehand; it's just shown at the doctor's and the omega says he "didn't know it would work"), and tells the alpha he wants to quit his job because he only joined it to be with the beta, and wants to show he's not as dependent on him. This would be good (well, save the whole firing/demotion/quitting storyline that happens a lot for ukes in omegaverses; even if he's going to work with his brother, that's a huge change)...except the omega says he and the beta would still obsess over each other, so he'd never be able to truly let the beta go. And then right after, he says he wants to lean on the alpha. So what's the point of quitting? The alpha even says it sucks to lose to lose the omega because he was a good worker. It makes no sense to say "I only got this job because I wanted to be with my friend, but I want to be less dependant on him. That said, I can't really let him go and we'll still be obsessed with each other, and I also want you, too."

It's INSANE to me that the omega ran away from his feelings and the feelings of others, and now he wants to be selfish, brazenly telling the nice love interest that he couldn't let go of his obsessive friend but still wanted them both. The alpha deserves better.
