Definitely way too vanilla and slow-phased for my taste.
I really don't mind drama or vanilla, but my goodness, the pacing of this series moves like a snail's pace. I got bored and found it really bland. I only kept reading because of the interesting bits of lore dropped throughout the chapters. I really wanted the angst and I wanted answers about the plot.
SPOILERS, please skip:
Anyways, even though the story didn't explain how they regressed, I really wished that they showed the aftermath and Kwon's perspective from the first timeline. I can see why the author didn't dwell on it but as someone who loves deep angst, it was unfortunately way too short lol.
On the positive side, I like that Sejin didn't instantly give in to Kwon. It was satisfying to see Sejin make Kwon gravel on him and make him do extra 100 steps just to get a chance unlike the usual MCs in BL *cough cough* I hate it when authors do that.
Seeing Kwon be completely desperate for Sejin and yet genuinely remorseful at the same time is so refreshing. Again, it is RARE for ML in BLs to be written like that. Im just really glad seeing an ML doing an ACTUAL EFFORT to make amends with MC
