Also for anyone expecting the usual fantasy, this is a SCI-FI MILITARY SETTING (fantasy is just the cherry on top) with some Eldritch beings/Gods themes. Pairing is like a super paranoid black flag yandere ML x terrified and slightly self destructive MC (though not so normal herself)… Both are dependent at some point.

So, to clarify something about someone’s comment here about ML’s cheating, he became amnesic after regaining his divinity from the 13th prince in order to prevent the destruction of the world (he has been putting it off because he wanted to marry Erabelle before he loses his memories). After becoming amnesic, Erabelle goes down a depression spiral because she thinks that she’s the reason for everything (Deze losing his memories after she accidentally swapped bodies with the 13th Prince and Deze also sacrificing himself to keep her alive after she exploded/basically died). He calls for Erabelle after becoming amnesic then asks about their relationship which Erabelle kept dodging and saying that he’s actually gay (and only falls in love with the 13th Prince). This leads to Erabelle basically avoiding him for days and trying to drink more to keep her sorrow at bay, while Deze tries to get it on with other people but can’t cause his body only gets horny for Erabelle (no, he does not get penetrated; he got a virgin asshole). The passage was that he just stood up, with fluids on him that did not belong to him.
Because Deze became Erabelle’s “life and breath” after exploding, this meant that everything that’s harmful to Erabelle gets transferred onto him (noise, gun wounds, etc.) and so he seeks out Erabelle to quell the noise. From here, he no longer does any cheating, and actually regains some memories (at the end, he fully regains them, but never tells Erabelle since a lot of it is unfavorable).
So yes, he is not a virgin, and he technically cheats after losing his memories (yet also EXTREMELY paranoid of Erabelle cheating). He says it himself that he is bisexual when Erabelle kept claiming he’s only gay. He also is partly the reason why Erabelle exploded (made her as the unfortunate bait for collecting information), but he was thinking that her suicidal tendencies wouldn’t flare up in this moment (though this was a massive turning point in their relationship). I’ve read the novel and it’s my favorite, but I would never say he is a green flag (very much a black flag yandere; he uses Erabelle’s loved ones as hostages). I think the quote from Erabelle describes their later relationship development the most where Erabelle can’t fully trust his goodness towards her, and he can’t fully trust her love towards him. I still think they’re a cute couple (I know…I just love them fucked up) and if you can move past these, then you might enjoy this series like I do. Remember that ML is not human; he’s been through thousands of repeats and is a result of thousands of experiments to make a not-human-yet-not-fully-a-god creature…. He kills a lot of innocent people, and that’s why Erabelle is always afraid.

Also, just a fun tidbit: Deze really wants to get pegged by Erabelle and lose his virginity to her (says “If you really loved me, you would wear a strap.”)
