Welp. 7 more chapters to go and see how their confession plan is going to go. It's probably going to end not very well for Ki Hyeon as Gaon will turn down his confession. She's probably going to say "That's not love. You're confused. You wanted someone who could act like a motherly/sisterly figure to you." along the line. At this point, Do Young gives up on her love and moves on. All of them probably went to their separate ways after graduation from high school.

Maybe that's why Gaon won't appear after timeskip as much as she did during high school arc. I'm betting a class reunion. Do Young will be the most surprising glow up out of everyone. Everyone is in awe with her look and now she's the popular girl in class. Ki Hyeon begins to realise something that he had been feeling deep down for the past few years, and Do Young's about to disappear from his sight once again when the reunion ends. He's going to chase after her and she's going to be irritated at him. She questions why he is bothering her now and that she doesn't understand him. He keeps stirring the feelings that she had locked away deeply in her heart and she doesn't want it to resurface again.

Since we know that their first meeting was deliberately planned, I'm guessing he married her because he's obsessed with how she looks. Maybe when he was young, he knew his father was a cheater and there's even news publication about MC's mom. He saw her mom's face and became obsessed with it. Then, at some point, he accidentally comes across MC who looks like an exact match of MC's mom. He did some research about MC, probably only knowing she's an orphan kid and nothing else so he didn't think that they're related (like MC's a doppelganger in his opinion). He knows that the MC's mom had a daughter but the identity of daughter was not known so he probably didn't know that MC is his half-sister. When he learns of it, he'll feel shocked and disgusted but decided it didn't matter cause it's love...
