She bought it out of curiosity and they went over to one of their friends and collected some of his tears as the "special" ingredient. She is blown away by how cute but sad he is and becomes convinced she needs to drink his tears again. Things happen, they become close, and it's revealed that his friends did that to cover up for the fact that he needed to cry that day. I don't remember why he was heart broken or anymore of the details. It was weird but cute, in that aimed at 2000s era girls kind of way.
