Claudette omg, I feel so bad for her. I hope she gets her body back, she deserves to have at least her magic, after all she did exchange their bodies on a impulse. I hope she js not being mistreated anymore.

She won't get her body or her magic back. Tha manga specifically states that once the bodies are exchanged, it can never be undone. And honestly, it's better this way. Sure, she had it rough but she misused her magic at every opportunity. I wouldn't even trust her with her contract dragon but that thing is tied to her soul so.. She has shown zero growth as of chapter 27. She'll need to have shown a lot of change from here on out. I don't have high hopes for her, though.

And even if they could exchange, she wouldn't want her old body back. Not sure where you got that she did it "on impulse" but she planned that shit out for over a year. The spell required a year without sun if I remember correctly. However long it was, it wasn't just for a day or two. That's not "on impulse" that's purposeful, that's intent. She could have stopped at any time bit she didn't. And the ML specifically says she used to torment him in his dreams. That's malicious intent, too. Especially given that this was directly before she was to exchange her body. She likely never wanted her twin to survive the process. I fully believe that wanted her twin to be killed after she took over her body.

You are far to hursh on a child. Especially since she wasn't even raised, only kept alive (as if they even tried to do that). A child grown to not know warmth, love and purpose, how could she know any better? Others take, so she learned the same. Not everyone is born wise, everyone learns through experience and interactions with others. But what did she have all those years locked up? What did she get after finally going out? She was only desperate, after all when you think about it she was the princess that should have been cared for. Her switching bodies is what kept fl safe, in a way. And our fl because of it finally is free. The things fl wished for were what claudette had, and claudette wished the same but she just had the power to truly make her wish come true, and in turn granting fl freedom as well. I just wish she takes her body so she learns to cherish herself, because she deserves to be loved, but her first love should come from herself. I didn't say she shouldn't learn a lesson, but she should have her precious body back, after all, how can any of the girls truly feel loved, while being in someone else's body?

Regardless of how you feel, the manga made it perfectly clear in the first chapter that this was irreversible. It cannot be undone. SHE'S the one who made that choice, taking away the agency and free will of the FL. She will have to live with those consequences. And no matter what either of us think, she's shown no regrets as of this point in the manga. In fact, it sounds like she's been living it up, happy in her new body as the "beloved queen."

She wasn't a child when she made most of those choices. She's a young adult, prone to making bad decisions and acting impulsively but she had plenty of time to undo the spell. She didn't. This is the consequences of that. She blamed the only innocent person in this, who had no decision making in how her life turned out, and took it out on her. She didn't target her parents or the kingdom that wrecked her life. She targeted her twin, lashed out, and what now? This story isn't going to give any nuance to what actually happened before or what happens next.

I'm tired, I don't want to argue about this. I'm glad you enjoy this story but it just leaves me frustrated and disappointed. It's just yet another example of "this person is sad, don't blame them for their inexcusable actions" and I'm so tired of that trope.

True. Eventhough she grow up sad, it never justified her misdeeds all this far to those who innocents.
Like her sister, the townpeople and the animals in the forest.
They have lost a lot in the span of years because she robbed them off sunlight.

Like, if you have the power, you should have taken revenge to those who wrong you. Not those unrelated to you.
