I made this just to put my questions here, if anyone could please answer even interpretations are good.
“Seeing such a big guy being cute and overflowing with affection… the emotion I felt, nothing but disgust. Can’t deny it, I was that kind of person.” CH 43
“But even within this seemingly peaceful space, I could feel our relationship slowly rotting and decaying, and Jiwoo Suh, who now had no emotional space left to fill, was no longer attractive to me. For the first time, I felt like I wanted to break free of him.” CH 43
CH 48 (Jiwoo outing himself to the public is crazy way of getting Eunsung’s guilt)
What did Eunsung mean by this? “Things were no different with Chaeun Park, I thought it was fun to sit back and watch him suffer, but back then, I had enough time to get a handle on my emotions. I can never bring myself to like anyone for that long anyways. But Jiwoo Suh never allowed me that sorr of time, my heart that was torn apart by insults remained rooted… which made me want to test Jiwoo. Why is it that I can never love people worthy of love, but make the worst choices for myself and put myself through hell?”
Ch 49: Eunsung felt a slight pleasure in being the only one Jiwoo had. I do like that he admits he created unhealthy relationships or took part in it. He is trying to start over with Jiwoo I guess, but to get rid of his own guilt, not cause he wants to love Jiwoo again? And what does Jiwoo mean by “you should prepare yourself?” What did Eunsung realize by that?? Help. This is at end of ch 49.
Ch 50: So confused. I have an idea, so it’s like abusive relationships—it IS one. But I can’t connect the dots right now. So Eunsung did love Jiwoo? But he would’ve done the same to Jiwoo like he did to Chaeun? I wonder why Eunsung reacts that way to affection, that he can’t ever love someone for that long. He made it seem like he lost love for Jiwoo, did he really and this is just guilt? Or he does still kind of love Jiwoo but needed space to heal? And I wonder why Jiwoo is this smitten by him, the same guy who treated him cruelly by bringing a girl over, throwing his clothes in trash, etc.
Ch 51: Sand castle symbolism :)…Eunsung looking away from the sand castle, Jiwoo going to fix the falling sand castle.
CH 52: Love it. Thank you Eunsung’s friend for giving Eunsung an advice. I like that Eunsung admits to being the one who made Jiwoo like that. Eunsung friend said he would end things if he were Eunsung, but also give them time to adjust to the break up. Jiwoo being afraid of the offered pizza because it might be taken back…real.
Ch 53: Oh so Eunsung was a serial trash boyfriend haha, poor Subin. I like that Eunsung admits he engineered it for Subin to end things with him, probably didn’t put an effort anymore. I do like that Eunsung gave Chaeun closure, thats what would help others move on for break up.
Ch 54: “Even today, Jiwoo desires to be with other people while keeping himself self distant at the same time. It seems like he changed but he hasn’t, as I listened to who he really was on the inside, I could sense a new beginning.”
Someone need to break this down for me. LMAO please. What does Eunsung mean by that Jiwoo desires to be with others but self distant? And the line about it seems he changed, but hasn’t…means what? Should he have changed? And how come Eunsung loves him now? I guess he did truly love Jiwoo but with hurt comes more love? And because Jiwoo stayed with him no matter what? Abusive relationships are so complex my head is hurting.
Ch 55: Eunsung says he is starting to enjoy having Jiwoo around.
CH 56: Lol, Eunsung makes a jab at Jiwoo for the past when Jiwoo brought the girl over. Jiwoo is adamant that he never slept with the girl, and I believe him. And the reason he squeezed his own hand and ‘hesitated’, was less of hesitation and more of ‘oh shit, I remember what happened that day’ (when he hurt Eunsung’s feelings by bringing girl over). With how cruel he was back then, Jiwoo would have admitted to sleeping with the girl but he denied sleeping with her even at that time. I doubt he slept with her. It was still wrong of course. Jiwoo was going to continue and explain but Eunsung slept, DAMN IT. He was going to mention something about the girl being in same class/group as Eunsung.
CH 58: A POV on what Jiwoo thought of Eunsung first impressions and his motives. LOL, I love how he knows what Eunsung did was love bombing. Jiwoo is a bit crazy but oh well. I love the whole existing in one’s time line.
CH 59: Jiwoo wanting to swallow Eunsung and keep in inside forever…um.
CH 60: Eunsung’s POV I think: can forever or eternity be possible? Can it last long? It may be that someone will catch my eye in no time. And I may be drawn to the void in him ((Jiwoo? Cause the panel went to Jiwoo, or is Eunsung referring to someone else that catch his eye?)) and helplessly fall for him. I’m still afraid of an unstable and unpredictable future and feelings that are out of my control. But if there’s something I can do now and only at this moment (panel shows dialogue ‘you have to promise to not lose it forever and keep it forever’)… it’s not courage I need, nor is it some convincing reassurance or someone’s advice that’s comforting to hear. All I have to do is let out the words welling up in my throat. Just want it with all of my soul and without worry or hesitation. The love that always poured on me becomes a wave that engulfs the white sand beach where I stand. It washes me away…I’m powerless against it. But I no longer feel stifled or trapped, it feels warm and safe as if I was born there.

OH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.
