Well isn't tj korean anyway? It makes sense to turn pale when you're locked up the whole day not seeing the face of the sun even if you're usually tan
According to the novel, he wasnt described as pale, though. His complexion was fine around these chapters, as he was fed well, but no specific description was mentioned, from what I remember. (i read the novel 4 yrs ago, so i could be a bit wrong as well)
