I just found out that the novel finally has an official English translation (I'm over the moon!) but I've heard about the westernisation of it, like Kim Dokja becoming Dokja Kim (like who tf is that). I mean I get it and it's not too bad of a change. But I've also heard about dokkaebi translated into goblin? That for me is throwing me off buying it slightly. It would just disrupt the reading experience if I were to stop every few pages trying to figure what the new term means. Especially when there are actually goblins in ORV, so won't the terms clash with each other?
I'm only on here cause I've really nowhere else to ask, is there any other egregious translations or perhaps changes? I can pass hyung for brother (never bro, istg if I see bro in the book I'll pass out) and the honorifics changing to Miss and Mr, cause yeah ig since it's the English translation.
