He wasn’t beat up exactly…his father carved those scars into his back with the broken plate which honestly feels so much worse. Beating your kid in a fit of rage is inexcusable, but Matteo very deliberately and intentionally physically scarred him. Like holy fk man, that’s just monstrous.
I feel so bad but I can see how being beat half to death by your father can leave you with a few screws loose. Pain is a lesson to those you love in this case (︶︿︶)＝凸
