For me it dragged the story down considerably. Intertwining omega papa’s struggles with accepting himself truly while learning to be strong with alpha dad weakly begging his abusive parents to accept the life he’s chosen for himself was such a bad choice. To have an abused mistreated child who turned into a miserable unhappy BATTERED (his bruised face later) adult because of his horrible parents then beg them for acceptance as an adult without holding them accountable or even being angry for his mistreatment and their failures to be DECENT parents to their baby was so poorly handled.
the forgiveness was so undeserved. the child had to be the one begging for a conection again and the mothers didnt event try to actually make up for their abuse :/ it leaves a bad taste
