It really shows how dystopian omegaverse is. It looks all cliche and mundane from a narrative point of view but if you were to even live it out, it's awful. Uke clearly wants to move on and pretty much was already close to moving on at rhe start the the semes sudden appearance, his too familiar pheromones and all that was literally locking uke up.
This pheremone compatibility and all just shows how inconsiderate it is to individuals who are naturally falling in love or trying to get to know each other because, in the end, do their pheromones match? Do your feelings and experienced never matter at all?
Just feels bad. Ik story-wise the uke is annoying to a lot of readers, the plot feels back and forth, but I think it still depicted what it intends to show: that you genuinely can't really break off from being attracted to some pheromones, and developing to ease into someone's pheromones is only second compared to natural compatibility.
Atp uke and seme should just bond :( if seme grows out of his love and attraction he better just pay child support or whatever and if he really does like the uke without all the weird pheromone and guilt thing, he should just marry uke and keep uke plus the kid safe and healthy.
