I'm confused--and I MAINTAIN that this aspect was kinda unecessary

It's been a LONG time since S2 so I'm probably forgetting stuff, but Kim Seoho's soul being placed in Minchan's body feels like reincarnation, right? How is that different? Didn't Bihwan check to see if the situation was like this to begin with or something?

And I am kinda annoyed; it was very obvious that Bihwan/Minchan was endgame. Why bother including Seoho in that storyline since he's barely present and Bihwan seems to have moved on, which feels frustrating? I don't get the point of making a bittersweet romance like that, especially if Kim Seoho's soul is still inside Minchan. This could've easily been a dokkaebi/human relationship without having the lost lover trope.

Also Bihwan and his brother felt like it needs more attention, particularly since Gwonryeom was hinted at being a bad guy from the start, so we never get to enjoy his relationship with others much.

He could've been there without being Bihwan's lover, though.
