ML threatens to break MC's arms and legs, but then says getting MC angry and bashing him was to distract him and make him feel better. I'd love to believe he had good intentions, but this all does feel like MC is isolated and kept out of something important. Interesting that he has a sadistic side. I'd say I was happy that he had self-control, but I imagine that ML is gonna break him--which is fine in the bedroom; just not as a person.
