Hmm, for a story about freaks and a twisted relationship, it actually wasn’t that bad—it was pretty good. Despite the ML being unpredictable and us not getting much of his POV, he was gentle with him, I guess. They made a deal after all, and the MC needed the money, so it was a win-win. He even came back to him on his own when the ML gave him a chance to run away. It was fine when there were no romantic feelings or emotional attachment involved, so I think it would’ve been better if it had stayed that way, without the uke developing feelings
