Hmm, for a story about freaks and a twisted relationship, it actually wasn’t that bad—it was pretty good. Despite the ML being unpredictable and us not getting much of his POV, he was gentle with him, I guess. They made a deal after all, and the MC needed the money, so it was a win-win. He even came back to him on his own when the ML gave him a chance to run away. It was fine when there were no romantic feelings or emotional attachment involved, so I think it would’ve been better if it had stayed that way, without the uke developing feelings
Besides all the obsession and toxicity in those few chapters, THIS IS SO PEAK The love, the yearning, the longing, the affection, the found-family vibes, the chasing, the warmth, the tenderness, the kindness… EVERYTHING IS SO MESMERIZING. It feels like a fucking fairy tale, I can't
