This was beyond perfection. The art style, the character development, the plot, the scenes—everything was just outstanding. It’s been a while since I’ve read something this worthy, something that gave me this much adrenaline. I’m such a sucker for obsession, and both characters gave me exactly what I wanted. I’m just so grateful…Thanks to the author, and honestly, thanks to webtoons for existing
It started out interesting, but it turned out to be stupid. The plot isn’t plotting at all—it’s just going in circles. If the hex was supposed to conjure affection between the two of them, then shouldn’t it have affected both of them equally? Who gave anyone the right to decide whether someone else’s feelings are genuine or not? You’re saying your love is real, but somehow his feelings aren’t? WTF??
His Grace literally told him multiple times that he loved him, but the uke just refused to believe him because he was a prince, saying that someone of his status would only lie to someone like him. And then he left him believing that His Grace didn’t genuinely love him. Like... what???
Then they spend ages going around in circles, and eventually His Grace becomes king, searches for him, and suddenly the uke starts believing that the king genuinely loves him too. EXCUSE ME??? So you didn't believe him when he was literally telling you he loved you, but now you believe him because he came looking for you? The whole thing is just a circle—back to the same point over and over again.
And, mister king, please maintain your fucking composure. You bawled your eyes out more than the uke did throughout the entire series.
I mean, when did things start going down the wrong path? This was supposed to be a masterpiece with their lovable relationship. Why did the story have to go this way? Honestly, I think I prefer the opposite kind of story—where they start off incompatible, hurt each other, and eventually work things out and end up together. But going from lovers to this!!! Noooo
I've realized I don't mind slow-burn stories as long as they're this funny.(≧∀≦)

Jaekyung was literally the definition of a badass red flag, cold as hell and untouchable… and now he’s acting like a soft nerdy cat Like bro, falling in love is okay, but why did he completely lose his aura? The character got so messed up wtf.

08/01/2024: MGo was one of my safe spaces when I was struggling with mental health. The mangas/manhwas Ive read (and are still reading), and the people Ive met will always have a special place in my heart. I am all better now and I'm ready to pursue what life has ahead of me, and I think with that, I wont be active as much here anymore. Am I the only one who finds this story kind of plain? As excited as I was to let it marinate and read it all in one go, I ended up feeling disappointed. I don’t know — maybe I was expecting something more unique, something on the level of Their Beauty, How unfortunate. ╥﹏╥ :( :( :(
It was so fucked up at the end, but so fucking amazing at the same time, damn. I’m drenched from pure enthusiasm.. I really adored the story , this is so good. I bet season 3 will be on fire...
Guys, let me break this down.
So they made a contract where the uke would compose music so the top could sleep at night. As part of the deal, they agreed that having sex with other people was none of each other’s concern. No emotional involvement, no attachment.
But then the top started developing weird, unfamiliar feelings for the uke. Instead of handling them properly, he reacted badly — he started bullying the uke during intimacy, saying one thing while doing another.
The uke eventually left because he felt humiliated, and the moment he realized something was wrong with the top’s feelings, he wanted to run.
On top of that, the uke already has deep trauma, mostly because of his dad — who kept pressuring him and blaming him for something that happened when he was a child, even though it wasn’t his fault at all. The uke did nothing wrong, but he grew up constantly being reminded of this “mistake.”
Because of that, the uke kept refusing to admit that he was developing feelings for the top. The guilt, fear, and emotional pressure piled up, and he escaped instead of facing it.
What I’m still confused about is:
When exactly did the uke’s dad try to kill the top when they were children?
And honestly — am I the only one who doesn’t think the top’s personality is actually that awful? I don’t find him shitty at all. On the contrary, he feels very loving, just emotionally contradictory. He says one thing and does another, yes — but he doesn’t seem cruel. He feels emotionally inexperienced and green, not malicious.
I didn't expect to enjoy the old man domination that much :D , I need MORE of him pounding that boy like his personal toy!! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
