08/01/2024: MGo was one of my safe spaces when I was struggling with mental health. The mangas/manhwas Ive read (and are still reading), and the people Ive met will always have a special place in my heart. I am all better now and I'm ready to pursue what life has ahead of me, and I think with that, I wont be active as much here anymore. Am I the only one who finds this story kind of plain? As excited as I was to let it marinate and read it all in one go, I ended up feeling disappointed. I don’t know — maybe I was expecting something more unique, something on the level of Their Beauty, How unfortunate. ╥﹏╥ :( :( :(
It was so fucked up at the end, but so fucking amazing at the same time, damn. I’m drenched from pure enthusiasm.. I really adored the story , this is so good. I bet season 3 will be on fire...
Guys, let me break this down.
So they made a contract where the uke would compose music so the top could sleep at night. As part of the deal, they agreed that having sex with other people was none of each other’s concern. No emotional involvement, no attachment.
But then the top started developing weird, unfamiliar feelings for the uke. Instead of handling them properly, he reacted badly — he started bullying the uke during intimacy, saying one thing while doing another.
The uke eventually left because he felt humiliated, and the moment he realized something was wrong with the top’s feelings, he wanted to run.
On top of that, the uke already has deep trauma, mostly because of his dad — who kept pressuring him and blaming him for something that happened when he was a child, even though it wasn’t his fault at all. The uke did nothing wrong, but he grew up constantly being reminded of this “mistake.”
Because of that, the uke kept refusing to admit that he was developing feelings for the top. The guilt, fear, and emotional pressure piled up, and he escaped instead of facing it.
What I’m still confused about is:
When exactly did the uke’s dad try to kill the top when they were children?
And honestly — am I the only one who doesn’t think the top’s personality is actually that awful? I don’t find him shitty at all. On the contrary, he feels very loving, just emotionally contradictory. He says one thing and does another, yes — but he doesn’t seem cruel. He feels emotionally inexperienced and green, not malicious.

Thank you for completely destroying everything that made this story special. You turned my precious Isaac into a spineless idiot with a blank, clueless face — and the same goes for the seme. The art lost all its depth and emotion. Impressive, really — to ruin so much in so little time. Still, I suppose I should thank you for your... efforts.
As a deranged person, I'm okay with toxic stories — but this one isn't even charming. Even after being crazy in love with him, he’s not lovely at all. There was never any chemistry between them.
Sure, the seme has APD — we get it. For someone abnormal, he acted exactly as expected for his personality. He did a perfect job hiding his nasty side — that’s why he’s an actor. He was born like that; nothing can be helped.
But that spineless idiot manager? Sigh. I don’t even have the energy to properly criticize him. First of all, why the hell did he fall in love with his best friend’s crush?? Then he flew all the way to Korea just for himself, and ended up falling for the seme completely — while still going around saying it’s all for “revenge” on behalf of his friends?? Dude, are you out of your f*cking mind?
That’s pure hypocrisy. How could he betray his friends like that — and then have the shameless audacity to go to her grave and talk about “atonement”? Please. You’re worse than the seme himself. At least he never denied who he really was. But this spineless, gutless hypocrite? He’s on another level of shameless. Of course he’d fall for the seme like the stupid, pushover idiot that he is.
Oh, And don’t even get me started on the sex scenes. Even though they were okay visually, BUT they were just penetration — no real love, no foreplay, no aftercare, not even preparing him or loosening him up. Just empty physicality, no emotional depth. It wasn’t connection, it was just function. Like everything else in this hollow mess of a relationship.

Do you need me to remind you that he fucking KIDNAPPED him, turned him into an OMEGA, RAPED him, ABUSED him, BROKE his ankle, CHOKED him nearly to death, and CONFINED him... and yet all of the readers still like their so-called "happy ending"?
