This was beyond perfection. The art style, the character development, the plot, the scenes—everything was just outstanding. It’s been a while since I’ve read something this worthy, something that gave me this much adrenaline. I’m such a sucker for obsession, and both characters gave me exactly what I wanted. I’m just so grateful…Thanks to the author, and honestly, thanks to webtoons for existing
It started out interesting, but it turned out to be stupid. The plot isn’t plotting at all—it’s just going in circles. If the hex was supposed to conjure affection between the two of them, then shouldn’t it have affected both of them equally? Who gave anyone the right to decide whether someone else’s feelings are genuine or not? You’re saying your love is real, but somehow his feelings aren’t? WTF??
His Grace literally told him multiple times that he loved him, but the uke just refused to believe him because he was a prince, saying that someone of his status would only lie to someone like him. And then he left him believing that His Grace didn’t genuinely love him. Like... what???
Then they spend ages going around in circles, and eventually His Grace becomes king, searches for him, and suddenly the uke starts believing that the king genuinely loves him too. EXCUSE ME??? So you didn't believe him when he was literally telling you he loved you, but now you believe him because he came looking for you? The whole thing is just a circle—back to the same point over and over again.
And, mister king, please maintain your fucking composure. You bawled your eyes out more than the uke did throughout the entire series.
I mean, when did things start going down the wrong path? This was supposed to be a masterpiece with their lovable relationship. Why did the story have to go this way? Honestly, I think I prefer the opposite kind of story—where they start off incompatible, hurt each other, and eventually work things out and end up together. But going from lovers to this!!! Noooo
I've realized I don't mind slow-burn stories as long as they're this funny.(≧∀≦)

Personally, I don't see the character depth everyone talks about. Most of the development revolves around bringing Seoho back, and many of the emotional conflicts keep repeating themselves. The premise was interesting, but I never felt much chemistry between the characters. The romantic scenes were great, but beyond that, the story didn't offer much for me. That's why it feels shallow to me.
The emotional conflicts repeat because of the main themes revolve around the loss, betrayal and the meaning of life and neither of characters have still found answers they are looking for. But the conflict changes every time they face it, slowly Bihwan had to accept Minchan as his own person and find out that bringing Seoho back can lead to Minchan disappearing. At first he was hoping for that so him actually falling in love (which has been shown in such emotional ways without actually saying it!!!) is breaking his heart but he is a strong person and able to make a decision to do everything for Minchan even at the loss of Seoho. Minchan is not trusting of Bihwan- rightfully so- but he is trying to trust him and as he was finally starting to accept his feelings for Bihwan—- season ends. Minchan struggles a lot with feeling imcomplete and meaningless and he is scared of bonds and love but he is starting to change because Bihwan points out in their conflicts that there is other ways of living and thinking. They both have grown a lot and their emotions are shown in such a depth in both dialogue and art, and storytelling. These are just some points about changes in characters, but it is true that not everyone can understand every art form and not everything resonates and that is okay!
i feel like theres no point trying to explain things to them when they cant see character depth in a story that arguably has one of the most interesting mc we’ve seen from BL in awhile. minchan is very well written especially in comparison to majority of bl bottoms who get walked all over by their partner AND the author lol
People hate a good plot when they consider a smut fest like red string quests peak

Yeah, I understand the trauma and guilt after seeing someone you love get stabbed because of you. But for a character known as a tyrant, the crying and begging felt exaggerated. His expressions already said everything — he didn’t need to completely lose his intimidating aura.
well it was pretty obv from almost the start that it was a coping mechanism. At least it was to me so I don't see the difficulty here. Tho i do not overlook the harm he brought to Kin dan
