I haven't read the novel, but as of now, 28 chapter, there's no smut, tho there is a tag "adult" linked to this story, so there's a chance there's gonna be something in the future, but it's definitely not smut like most bls

Okay so, I've collected the names of all the bls that have little to no smut, so let me list them in categories, and also, I have read more manga than manhwas, so there's gonna be a lot of manga listed
So first category is manga that have smut only in the bonus chapter:

"Unmei-teki Lovemeter" (in the last or second to last chapter there're allusions to suicide, there's a warning at the beginning of the chapter)
"Tell me you can hear it" (but you won't get flashed, there's no panels with dicks)
The manhwas that have smut in the second season, but the first season is so worth reading:

Manhuas (tbh I read all of them some time ago and I believe they did the deed in every one of them,but it was short and so not explicit, it really felt like there was nothing there and that is the point with manhuas,bc they are Chinese and almost never contain any smut, so if you want to read smut free bls without worrying that someone recommend you wrong or smth, go for manhuas):

(I recommend watching the anime instead of manga, the anime has some things cropped out and the manga was quite creepy in multiple parts, I know there are a lot of fans, especially of the anime, but as someone who read the manga I can't hide that I'm rather sceptical and scared of what the story will be like)

Now the ones that have sex scenes, but they are cropped in a way there's very little visible

Lastly some bls that I couldn't classify
"A Midsummer Night's Kiss" (no smut in the main story)

<3"Namida no Tantanmen" (it's not even a romance, but it's a nice one shot about life and stuff)
<3"The otaku love connection" (it's a romance, but not a bl)
All of the recs I included don't need the smut, the bonus chapters or the last chapters, if you omit them, the story still is concluded and coherent, so although not all of them are completely without smut, they are still worth it
I also placed a heart next to each title that I absolutely love and have reread and recommend so much, these are absolute masterpieces
Also I'm sorry I talked for so long, but I wanted to give clear instructions, since when I use websites for recs or other people's recs, I most of the time don't know what to expect and get disappointed 99% of the time
