his goal in manipulating garam and naeun has been to get the man he was in an inappropriate relationship with reinstated into gaeum's orchestra. the chairwoman is hinting that someone else has already spoken to her about the same man, requesting he not be in the orchestra. it's expounded upon a bit further at the end of the season.
