Yes! He even liked it when the Director first called him Boss which I think that's the reason why he warmed up to him right easily despite his shady and scary background. The towndpeople coddle him too much when he gives something they say something like he shouldnt have to, but the Director, he shamelessly accepts everything that's why he feels accomplished
The reason why Babyface followed the Director is because he's the only one that's been treating him like a functioning adult.
He gave him a job with salary and contract.
Everybody else is calling him a kid / puppy, treats him like he knows nothing and questions his decisions.
