It is. Yuri’s love for Xinlu is one of the most beautiful forms of love. There isn’t even the slightest hint of lust in it, unlike that predator. His love is so pure, like seeing a beautiful flower by the roadside and being moved by its beauty, but never feeling the need to pick it or take it home just to make it his own. That’s why a character like Yuri is so rare, even in real life. Most people would probably be more like that predator, but Yuri isn’t written that way.
