Huh? I often see tropes where:
1. The dad is terrible while the mom is a good person.
2. Both parents are dead.
I rarely see a "mom abandons the kid" storyline.
I guess we run into completely different stories hahaha ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
We seem to! I've heard of the "bisexual dad wrecking up the family," but I've NEVER seen that in a BL. Honestly that seems like it'd make for interesting storytelling--but so many BLs squander their storytelling potential.

These stories always have the mom.abandon their child and dad be a bisexual pice of shit, but since moms alive, we can all forget the abandonment and leaving your child with an neglectful asshole, cuz well she is here now, so the only thing they are good at is serving face not love (cuz the moms are always rich and pretty after) and don't even get me started in the uke "well she just has her circumstances, so why not talk to her and forgive" bitch what? Are you crazy?!
