Man I just had a thought, even in the supposed selflessness of the action he takes to prevent his runs its still lowkey selfish and stupid.
As a seasoned omegaverse enjoyer; suppressants aren't useful for shit. They're always faulty or lead to your hormones being so wacked up that it results in an even more intense rut or heat respectively. Its such a common trope, I think its safe to consider it a reasonable expectation of abusing suppressants.
Thus even though we see he's taking rut suppressant now, what we can also infer is that in the future what's most likely going to happen is that he's going to experience a rut so bad, he loses himself bad enough to sexually assault/rape the omega. (Lowkey forget everyone's names. Forgive me.)
