First of all, it's not even completed and so it feels like it's been dropped without any resolution. It's such a shame that the art is so pretty and the story is similar to omegaverse plot that it's an interesting spin on the trope, but instead we got rape, grooming, slavery, torture, incest and SA. Jueyue being canonically 18 in this life being manipulated and essentially forced into sex with his 300 year old master, the power dynamic is horrifying and toxic, especially that Kongying fucked him over in both lives just to covet him in the name of love. That's not love, that's obsession.
I would maybe close one eye if Jueyue recovers his past live's memories and made the decision himself but nothing of the sort is shown, his past self actively pushes away and says no and still Kongying is a parasite that sticks to him despite truly bad. He's basically a yandere.
Zhinuan wanting his father (red haired immortal/human) is ew. Just ew. The biggest victims are truly Jueyue, Xiao LiaoLiao and a little bit of Xiao (red haired demon). Was hoping for a resolution, saw a glimpse of what it could be in a few chapters near the end because of poor uploading, but never saw how it got there and doesn't seem to have an ending anytime soon in terms of storyline.
