I finished reading and honestly, I kind of disagree with the comments that its peak. The plot itself isn't necessarily the bad part, the first arc in the Abyss Game is rather interesting and the way Wang Zixin (Prince) outsmarts the loopholes is quite smart, but other than that and the art, I don't really enjoy the other parts all that much.
The way that they got shoved into another story(?) is a little disconnected in terms of pacing and feels a little unnecessary, especially how the last part of the second perpetrator for the wrongful imprisonment was essentially spedran in an exposition slideshow. It was much shorter compared to the Abyss Game, isn't much in terms of driving the plot not character development and is just used to create more romance driven scenarios.
The romance is another problematic part. Prince saw Abyss as like his own child at first then supposedly fell for him into something more, an adult with a mentally and emotionally underdeveloped person who is essentially like a 8-year-old (counting from his first consciousness in the lab to current ending him). Also, Prince preferring a more obedient and ignorant Abyss in a power dynamic stance is extremely sus not gonna lie.
All in all, read this without thinking nor reading too much into it as a brainrot story. It's not BAD bad, it's just a little shaky at best.

There isn't much to say, it's pretty solid and cute at the end, I just have a couple of peeves. If Rui always likes Shion ever since before he turned into a woman, why does he continue to have one night stands with other women? Wouldn't it be technically cheating on his feelings? I feel like this was never addressed
Also, the age diff between Hajime and Hodaka gave me a little bit of the icks. We know that Hajime is the friend of his father's (iirc) and we saw a panel of younger Rui and Hajime playing chess, it looks like quite a big age diff (at the very least by 7 years). Since Hodaka and Rui are both Uni students, so around the same age, doesn't that make the situationship a little inappropriate?
Also also, Shion, Rui, Hodaka and Hajime are now all criminals. Hodaka for attempted SA, kidnapping and drugging, Hajime for human experiments and illegal production/distribution of unlicensed drugs. Rui and Shion both for drugging and essentially kidnapping Hodaka - which they didn't report to the police for.
These are just nitpicks of mine, it's just a doujin made for gooning. It's pretty good in terms of storyline and character development
1- no shade cheating on his feelings? wtf does that even mean???? u can’t cheat on ur own feelings? he has no obligations to stay loyal to his feelings? he even explains that his thought process was “the loml is straight, so i’ll be content just staying friends.” in his mind, he would probably have to settle for a woman. it was never addressed cos there was never anything TO address. i’m genuinely confused by what you’re looking for?

Oh, I must've missed the part where Rui explained that, I apologize. To be honest, I'm just commenting on personal thoughts, just rambles that I don't really think about too much. My having nitpicks doesn't mean I don't enjoy it haha, I enjoy Rui and Shion as people and their developments, as well as the story, it's just points of interests that either bother me or didn't understand that I would nitpick - it's comments like yours that correct my misunderstandings that I like reading as they provide extra perspective and reforms my opinions. I appreciate it haha
