I finished reading and honestly, I kind of disagree with the comments that its peak. The plot itself isn't necessarily the bad part, the first arc in the Abyss Game is rather interesting and the way Wang Zixin (Prince) outsmarts the loopholes is quite smart, but other than that and the art, I don't really enjoy the other parts all that much.
The way that they got shoved into another story(?) is a little disconnected in terms of pacing and feels a little unnecessary, especially how the last part of the second perpetrator for the wrongful imprisonment was essentially spedran in an exposition slideshow. It was much shorter compared to the Abyss Game, isn't much in terms of driving the plot not character development and is just used to create more romance driven scenarios.
The romance is another problematic part. Prince saw Abyss as like his own child at first then supposedly fell for him into something more, an adult with a mentally and emotionally underdeveloped person who is essentially like a 8-year-old (counting from his first consciousness in the lab to current ending him). Also, Prince preferring a more obedient and ignorant Abyss in a power dynamic stance is extremely sus not gonna lie.
All in all, read this without thinking nor reading too much into it as a brainrot story. It's not BAD bad, it's just a little shaky at best.
