Xinlu no longer has feelings for Taeui. What he felt for Taeui was the first time he had ever experienced feelings like that, but he eventually started becoming confused about what “liking” someone even meant to him.
Even without Xinlu realizing it, we can all tell that he already loves Yuri. He’ll eventually realize his feelings for Yuri when their work contract is about to end. And yeah, Xinlu is absolutely gonna fall down bad for Yuri, yearning like crazy, even crying his eyes out and refusing to let Yuri leave him.
And honestly, I think Xinlu being unaware of his own feelings is actually a good thing, because Yuri isn’t his second choice or a place to run to. He’s someone Xinlu genuinely, truly loves.
