I am also passionate about love triangle hatred to the point that I will never get second lead syndrome bc I think of second leads not as characters but poor plot devices so I cant even develop emotions for them. In general tho I don't rate stuff with love triangles badly but I do personally feel it cheapens stories more than it enhanced them.
love triangle is an acquired taste and it's a taste i will never acquire. when i think of love triangle, i think of bad plot, i think of creativity drought, i think of "i don't know how to make it interesting so here's a love triangle" ABSOLUTE SHT. no shame for anyone tho, this is just one of those things i am very passionate about.
