A true gem

This story is such a gem to me though bc it really took the step brother trope and transcended it imo. I know that a lot of people had their qualms with the trope and how their relationship borders on actual incest now bc they now have a blood-related sibling, but i think that's honestly the point??? The author doesn't shy away from those uncomfortable themes, and instead forces the characters to reckon with the decisions they've made and the life they've chosen to live. And I love the realness interspersed throughout the story of Geon feeling neglected and unloved by his dad, which makes it harder for him to understand his own feelings, and also easier for him to leave when things get hard. Also the guilt and regret about all the years that passed between them while he was gone, and while he and Sohm still love each other, they've also both changed as people and don't really understand each other fully just yet. It's really interesting imo and I'm fully invested in their story and hope the author can stick the landing
