I must say I love how they handled the ex boyfriend. They didn’t make him comically evil just someone that went through something fucked up. Who could actually wait for someone for 5 years with no contact? Especially if you think they’re dead. It must’ve hurt to finally let that person go just for them to show up alive and still the same person you lost so many years ago. I do wish they didn’t make the exes new partner actually mean but I kinda did still understand his worries even if he was an awful person. The new man is cute
