At that moment , Xinlu looked as perfect as fHe calls Xinlu "pretty as a flower" , "beautiful like a tropical sea fish". None of his compliments about Xinlu he made till now was inappropriate.

Yuri meant the "moment" and Xinlu asked "first love". Yuri doesn't have a "first love" but "an unforgettable memory" that resembles a pretty underwater flower.
this manhwa is tew good but the whole thing abt yuri saying that his first love was xinlu when he was a child and he was 25 is odd... Idk if it's mistranslation or it's just yuri playing around, but from before the convo in ch.42 he kept thinking back to how pretty xinlu was when he was a kid idk it's highkey weird...
