yup he never cheated, just faked the affair inorder to push Blair away inorder to "protect" her, which did crap lot of nothing since she had a miserable lonely life and death.
Idk why but I feel like Herdin never cheated on Blair and this is just either a misunderstanding or him being hypnotized or maybe him intentionally trying to keep her away... I understand the fact that Herdin doesn't trust Blair at all and of course he has his reasons cuz the Royal family is corrupt af and constantly trying to drag Herdin down. Herdin feels like a stoic and a reserved person but certainly not evil or cruel... yes in the past he may have hurt Blair by not being by her side but I feel like there's sometimes much more to this story... Also I feel so bad for Blair , it's like she is going through a psychological warfare due to her extreme experiences from the past. Like for her , Herdin is the ultimate villian and the reason of all her misery and sufferings and yet she knows she has to sleep with him and give birth to their child just cuz she want to see her precious son again. No matter what happened, Blair did love Herdin in the past and as she said the idea that she hates Herdin of her past life yet can't take revenge on Herdin of the present cuz him in the present is innocent is why she is feeling this despondent and disconnected from the reality cuz she is scared of falling in love with the present version of Herdin and then going through what she went through in her past life again...Again , Herdin starting to remember his memories from past and not being able to completely use his magical powers must have some sort of underlying hint that the author want us to understand ... What if Herdin was the one who turned back time cuz he regrets his foolish decisions and his inability to protect Blair and his baby ??? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it ?? Also if someone has spoilers , please enlighten this overthinker me I beg you
