It was so cute, it would be so cute and such a good story if the sexual assault didn’t happen. He forced himself onto him, they ended up confessing, and then the had (consensual) sex. It completely ruined the whole scene, and they completely ignored it even happened. I would be less annoyed if they properly addressed how bad SA is and how it is NEVER an okay response or thing to do, even if you’re upset/mad. The ML didn’t get any repercussions, and didn’t even properly - if at all - apologise. I get the ML is a loan shark, but he still went to school. He knows what fucking consent is, and it doesn’t matter what someone background is, if you force yourself onto someone, you’re an awful person. A good relationship doesn’t start with sexual assault.
