I think its implied that he survived by sucking the blood of the employee who found him hurt (before killing him). Just like how Benedict got cured in the first chapter by sucking out Kota's blood
yeah, fair. but in my own interpretation, I want to think that Benedict went to find Ian after he left Kota and killed him. and then went back to Kota after doing what he needed to do.
Benny left for a year or two, since Kota also graduated.
I wished it showed what happened to Ian. did Benny kill him? is he dead? guess we'll never know!
