He’ll "apologize", but in the most black flag / Ilay fashion—so don’t expect anything resembling a normal apology. For the character, it’s a HUGE step (especially compared to his past self, who would have NEVER, NEVER gotten over someone else having done less to him). But let’s be real: for us common folk, it’s what you’d call—for a BLACK FLAG—scraping the bare minimum of an apology with the tip of your pinky toe. And that’s coming from someone who LOVES Ilay inspite of themselves, so… do with that information what you will.
