I'm reading the novel and while the ML is still a bit of dick it's so much fucking better since it includes his POV. I'm only around chapter 18-19 (of the manhwa, the novel chapters are a bit weird since I bought and MTLed it myself lol) and it actually had me tearing up a bit.
This sentence takes place directly after the contract signing: "Soon, the gaze that shifted to Siwoo held a brilliant gleam. It was the face of a man who had finally achieved something he had desired for a long time."
