I dropped this at chapter 53 since the MC’s personality started turning for the worse. The beginning was pretty good due to her character development as she learned how to stand up for herself, but by chapter 53 her personality had started to become similar to Tatiana’s (main antagonist). Even the ML pointed out that she couldn’t answer his questions straightforwardly, which strangely resembled the scene between Tatiana and her husband where he grew frustrated with her for being unable to directly answer his questions. (Note: Tatiana’s husband is abusive so it’s understandable why she’d be too afraid to properly answer him, so there is some difference between the scenes, but when the ML confronted the MC about the bracelet immediately reminded me of that scene so that’s why I pointed it out.) The MC’s reasoning for refusing to share the truth with the ML is also absurd - she fears that he’ll think her explanation is crazy while completely ignoring the fact that he already knows about the bracelet’s abilities. If she’d explained what it did then he wouldn’t be so suspicious of her and it’d clear up the misunderstanding, but because she decided to keep her mouth shut he began suspecting her of manipulating him. It was also annoying when she was stupidly surprised that he overheard her conversation with the wolf when his questions made it very clear that he’d overheard them. He wouldn’t have asked abt the bracelet if he hadn’t heard about it. It’s like her personality and brains started to regress for the sake of the plot and it began to pmo since she started off strong and intelligent in the beginning. It felt OOC in a way
The expressions began to become off putting too. Why was the MC blushing the entire time the ML was confronting her about the bracelet? Why was she blushing when she was mulling over whether to tell him the truth or not?She wasn’t wondering abt confessing to him so why tf was she blushing like it was a romantic moment? Her yelling expression also began looking very exaggerated compared to previous chapters. For some reason, the MC kept on yelling and had no situational awareness which was really OOC considering that in previous chapters she’d noticed the assassins targeting Raymond, also shot monsters to save the ML, but couldn’t sense wolves approaching??? Her constantly yelling at the ML felt OOC too since she was more composed and graceful in previous chapters, like understandably she was worried abt the ML and was scolding him but then she started acting like some kind of shoujo protag like Tatiana was and it felt OOC and off putting. Like she was being some weird tsundere girl which compared to her previous self honestly made it seem like she’d turned into another person.
