So basically Dohyun was an orphan. And the main character's mom came to the orphanage and found him a family and she didn't have any contact with him until years later when he was a high schooler and she wanted a tutor for her son. While Dohyun was his tutor Wooyoen started to like him and he confessed to him but Dohyun went to army and he didn't see him again until college. Wooyeon's mother made contact with Dohyun again when they met again in college but she wasn't paying him this time to be his friend or anything. Mind you, in the past when Wooyeon was abroad the first friend he made over there was somebody that his mother put in charge to watch over him and that rubbed him the wrong way when he finded out so when he found out that the Dohyun was also set up by his mom in the first place he was hurt by that and he broke up with him. Dohyun genuinely loves Wooyeon and he just needed to prove that
