That’s actually what I love about this story, is how subtle the omegaverse is and that’s how I think a lot more stories should be!! Like that’s their world in the same way we have our 2 genders. We are aware of them but it doesn’t cause any issues in day to day bc that’s what we are used to (disregarding societal issues), females menstruate but we don’t make that our whole life whereas some other stories is where that’s the whole plot, that their gender causes issues every single time like they haven’t been dealing with it their whole life. It feels normal bc that’s their normal and it’s a nice change of pace :))
But then that eliminates the point of an omegaverse if it doesn't change anything.
I mean we’re only on ch15?? I’m sure there’s gonna be some drama later on like him getting his rut and all. they’re not even together yet lmao and I’m sure the author is still building the intro and will expand on their genders later. Ig it all comes down to preference and I won’t get into the nitty gritty but not every omegaverse has to be the same or start with a bang (literally and figuratively)
I'm always quick to criticized rushe stories, but 15 chapters isn't really the intro? Despite choosing a unique universe, it hasn't really been made use of yet. I like the couple, but it feels pointless to do an omegaverse ATP.
Same I agree honestly anytime a story has like omegaverse but it literally like has nothing to do with Omega verse. I think it’s stupid like what was the point of that but hey cause I literally only just remembered that this is Omega verse because I read your comment. I’mma still read it but if I was in the mood for Omega verse and I like click that tag and then stumbled upon the story, I would probably laugh like this is not that. But then again like some people said this is pretty early in the story, but hey this kind of just gives like acting mostly.
IDK why everyone is saying "early"; this is chapter 15, and their last work was implied to be cut short, possibly due to lack of popularity, sadly. I like the leads, but their relationship is coming along so slow and the omegaverse stuff is being treated so lightly that I do worry about it ending prematurely because the pace seems to drag a bit and nothing exciting has happened.
While I do like the bond growing (even if it feels at a snail's pace), I did hope we learned more about the characters beyond their careers, ie hobbies and families. Not to mention the alpha mentions he picked the role of an omega to challenge himself as an actor. I like this, but it reminded me that this is an omegaverse. It's very easy to forget that their IRL world is an omegaverse since it doesn't cause any conflict, conversations, or unique situations--and since the dynamic is alpha/beta, there isn't really a chance of mpreg unless both their genders change. Plus a beta can't smell alpha pheromones. All in all, they could've just made the show an omegaverse and not have it IRL and pretty much nothing would change.
