I’m currently a pre-vet student, but it really depends on you. You need a good understanding of biology and chemistry. Also most of pre-requisites for your bachelor degree are chemistry heavy and math heavy. If you are able to get through that you need 400+ hours of animal experience and then 400+ hours of experience of working alongside a vet. You really need to be committed :,)
It’s also really expensive since you need a bachelors and then need to pay for the actual veterinary school. Overall it’s around 400-500k just to finish school. Most vets only make around 120,000-140,000 a year which isn’t that much compared to other medical jobs. After paying loans and a million other bills. But if you’re passionate about animals and caring for people as well I do recommend (you get to see cute animals!!!)

is anyone here a vet student ? i suck and hate science, im not sure if this field would suit me im currently studying english literature to become a teacher but idk…
