Ikr. I don't mind redeemed villains, but usually they are feeling guilty and remorseful, and their actions show it. This girl just felt sad her powers got taken. No remorse whatsoever.
Until she can actually truly feel the weight of all her crimes, better to just leave her like that.
The protag always seems to take their nemesis's chibi form and make them a companion. It's like their evil deeds are nullified because now they are cute, bite-sized dolls. It's refreshing to see him say fuck that!
