How did Rey end up in a psychotic state? He was obviously drugged but I don't understand how he ended up at that corrupt party, given that he's not directly involved in the "missions" He always sends his spy, who I imagine takes his place; hence my suspicions that the sideburns guy is his spy.
I understand that Snake loves him in his own way and tried not to overstep boundaries but he did it anyway because he's an idiot who can't confess that he actually loves him in a more sincere and less egocentric way.
When they both find out the truth, they're going to live through an even bigger nightmare than what they're already experiencing. I think the person trying to adapt the novel for the artist to draw isn't doing it right... It feels like there's a giant puzzle and they're trying to fit pieces where they don't belong which gives us a confusing result.
