A few weeks ago, the artist posted on her X account that the story's author is facing health issues and she is waiting for her to recover; she noted that she is ready to return but is waiting on the author, and clarified that her work on DD has nothing to do with the delay in releasing the next season—addressing the many readers who had asked why she was working on DD when the other story wasn't finished yet. We have to keep waiting.
I think the author was recovering and they delayed season 4.
