I read the novel and it's so sad seeing him scared and the ML not giving him the explanation that he so desperately needs to hear. ML literally kept the misunderstanding longer even when he knows MC is pregnant smh (I'm not hating on ML cos I'm not really treating this story srsly, I think the whole thing is generally comedic, and I believe the manhwa will make it less problematic than the novel). Anyway, this is just a heads up for other readers. If you don't like this then pls drop it. Even in the beginning the story already mentioned the dubious consent here so idk why some of y'all are still yapping about it Yes, rape irl is bad. We don't condone it. NO seriously, I got so frustrated reading that part… bc WDYM he KNEW Go Yumin was misunderstanding the whole situation and was anxious—yet he didn’t clear it up.
All these red flags lining up
1. He didn’t reassure Go Yumin straight away that he wasn’t going to devour him and continued the misunderstanding—just because he enjoyed Go Yumin’s reaction
2. Didn’t tell him he was PREGNANT
3. He was PLANNING THEIR WEDDING without Go Yumin’s input
The manhwa honestly makes the novel feel so much lighter I wonder if it’s going to be adapted in a much lighter tone, or if it’s going to give us a major headache (wouldn’t be surprised if some ppl started dropping at that arc)
Right??? I haven't read the novel past that (cos I have to pay for it) but it's understandable if a lot of readers do (and tbh go for it) cos even I (who's relatively chill about red flags) was pissed! I'm hoping the manhwa would make it lighter cos I disliked the ML's POV in the novel.
No, I totally agree with everything!! I also find myself to be pretty neutral when it comes to reading red flag territory, but I had to stop reading that part in the novel Even I’m impressed I had to put the novel down—I was too frustrated//
