Anyone reading this has to agree Riftan holds Max back way too much. He should rlly nurture her growth, especially her powers. For once Max feels like her powers are hers and hers only. For once it is something she has control over and feels confident in. To stop her from it would be just like locking her in a room and hoping she’ll be okay with it bc at least she’s safe in there. If he was supportive, the growth and power she would be able to handle could be so much stronger than anyone could ever imagine. I wish after the tower arc Riftan can see how strong she is, not how beautiful she is and support her.
