People dont like to see real life based stories bro, the rape scene was not for fetish (they only showed one painel), it unfortunately is a real thing in countries that are against lgbtq+ rights. And the uke isnt "a bad boyfriend", dude, he struggled his WHOLE life bc of his sexuality. Do you REALLY think he would magically not have internalized homophobia? And the theme of the manga is literally self acceptance and japans flaws (toxic work policies, homophobia, etc).
