Pretty much! They just keep having him have amnesia over different periods (like his past self not remembering his current self, then his current self not remembering what happened with his past self) coupled with the threat of further amnesia… it’s pretty hard to take seriously for me after the first of the perpetual amnesia arcs, but… people like it, I suppose.
